Regions Bank
If I had to describe my time as the copywriter on Regions Bank’s social team, it wouldn’t be with a word you’d expect: Cute. For a financial institution, the work they allowed my design partner and I to create exceeded my expectations and my cuteness capacity. From personifying piggy banks, to shooting our own recipe videos and infographics, to games and poems and more, we were able to produce posts infused with warmth, relatability, and reliability. Our team cashed in on results and engagement through well-targeted, strategic organic content and a social-first approach to ideation and original concept series.

#PiggyPoetry has made this plastic green piggy bank an Internet icon. These rhyming posts usually coincide with a holiday and include a monetary twist. We mail out piggy banks as surprise and delight gifts for fans who comment asking for one.

Expectations vs. Reality

We capitalized on the Expectations vs. Reality social trend to help our followers avoid making common banking, business, and life mistakes.

#MoneyMojis engages fans with emoji-based word puzzles that also just so happen tie back to banking. Funny how that happens.
